Among the reasons for building the NaturaGart park in Ibbenbüren were its excellent connections:

By car:
About 7 minutes away runs the A1 motorway from the Ruhr area to northern Germany.
The A30 motorway passes by Osnabrück. It connects Hanover and the Netherlands.  We are also a mere 10 minutes away from the motorway intersection Lotter Kreuz. The motorway exit Ibbenbüren is just 5 minutes away.

Train
The city of Osnabrück is about 15 minutes away. All trains travelling from the Ruhr to the coast stop here. From there exists a connection to the Ibbenbüren station. Click here for information about connections from and to Ibbenbüren. Probably the easiest way to get here from the station is by taxi.
The ride takes about 12 minutes an costs around 12 Euros.

The Münster/Osnabrück airport is about 10-15 minutes away. A number of regional airlines service the airport on a daily basis. Click for connection information to the Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) airport.

Boat
The park is right next to the Dortmund-Ems canal, that meets the Mittellandkanal a few kilometres to the northwest. At about 10 minutes walking distance, at the 'Birtger Bogen' is a pier. Signposts show the way from there.
