Topic: The Perfect Shore Finish
Ideal for terraces, paths and paved surfaces

Date: All year

Summary:
Liner finishing at paving stones and terraces has always been problematic. The liner ends were folded up and usually covered with large stones - a rather unnatural and not very durable solution.

The biggest risk: Mice undermine the liner or overflowing water gets beneath it.

Solutions with wood are not very durable. The problem can, however, be solved perfectly with three interlocking aluminium profiles that are supplied by the pond construction firm NaturaGart.

The aluminium profile does not corrode and all screws are made of stainless steel.
The liner is held in place with the three profiles.
Together with the NaturaGart shore mat a completely natural transition to the water is created.

The profile is easy to put together, can be unscrewed at any moment and be reused elsewhere.

Expansion:
In essence the problem is how to connect the desired plant wilderness to the highly organised pattern of a paved surface using a minimum of space.
Many times the suggested solutions used up a lot of room - room that is not available.

Most people want to look onto their pond from their terrace. Any wide construction hinders this aim. The NaturaGart system makes everything very simple: On the land side is the smooth, about 5cm high edge and on the other side, just a centimetre further on, the easily controlled growth of pond plants begins.

Further information is available on request.

The shore profile is available in uncoated natural colour aluminium.
Optionally, the shore profiles can be supplied in green or brown. A simple way of finishing a shore.
The drawing shows details of the profile's construction.
The three profiles interlock perfectly and the liner is clamped into place.
Installation is this simple: The ground anchor is screwed to the covering profile.
The liner is clamped with the middle profile. The screw lies in a canal at the top.
The shore mats overlap and are held in place with the topmost profile.
Shore mat is folded back. Finished.
