Because we have so much water surface, pond plants are, of course, especially important. There are, however, also numerous perennials and different woody plants.
We estimate that in the course of a year over 1000 species and types grow here. We shall prepare complete lists later on, because at the moment the ongoing construction activity is still in course.
About 50 different types of water lilies grow in the park, winter proof ones as well as tropical types.
Next to the bright coloured flowers are also less conspicuous species like the rare marsh violet.
