Gullies |

Because of the high level of ground water in the Munster area, larger farms are surrounded by a wide trench. These gullies were completely silted up when the estate was acquired, so NaturaGart dredged them.
This has created a very attractive system of canals.
As opposed to the old installations, the gullies are now divided into reservoirs and have partially been sealed with clay. This way the ground water level drops much slower in summer. |
